Best Places to Have a Picnic in Jupiter
If you’re lucky enough to call Jupiter FL home, spending as much time outdoors is the only way to live. Whether it’s going for a swim or taking an oceanfront jog along the beach, there’s so much to see and do outside here in South Florida, which of course also includes packing up all your favorite treats and having a nice quiet picnic at one of Jupiter’s many public parks and beaches. Among other things, having a picnic exposes one to nature while also enjoying the company of family and friends, and when it comes down to it, what could be better? So, if you’re looking for a great picnic spot here in the Jupiter area, here are just a few suggestions on where to go:
Burt Reynolds Park
With its entrance on 805 North US Highway, Burt Reynolds Park provides one of the best places for a picnic in Jupiter. Plenty of grills and picnic tables are scattered throughout the park, and there’s even a picnic pavilion you can rent for larger gatherings.
Carlin Park
Located at 400 South State Road AIA, Carlin Park has picnic areas and activities that can befit the whole family. Tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and all kinds of walking and jogging paths give picnic goers lots more to do than just eat. Picnic pavilions with large tables and barbecue grills are also available here but need to be reserved.
Dubois Park
Offering a beachfront, swimming lagoons, a playground, and a unique historical background, Dubois Park is one of the best places in town to enjoy the outdoors, as well as good ole’ fashioned picnic outside. Its entrance is at 19075 Dubois Rd, and like the two parks listed above, there’s also grills and tables available here too.
Jupiter Beach Park
One of our favorite public park areas in all of Jupiter, Jupiter Beach Park lies at the south side of the Jupiter Inlet, providing 1,700 feet of guarded beach, as well as picnic areas with grills, restroom facilities, a sand volleyball court, and even outdoor shower should you decide to go for a dip in the ocean.
