John Lennon's Former Palm Beach Home Sells for Twenty Three Million!
Recently, John Lennon's former home on Palm Beach Island recently sold for $23 million in an off-market deal.
The home was designed in 1919 by the famous architect Addison Mizner. The sellers of the property were Alan and Christine Curtis, who had originally purchased the home for $4.3 million in 1990. The house sits at 720 South Ocean Blvd and is nicknamed "El Solano"
This Mediterranean estate boasts at least five bedrooms, a tennis court, a cabana building on the beach, and a bridge that connects the home to its former guest house, which was deeded to the original builder's neighbor at an earlier point in time.
John Lennon and Yoko Ono originally purchased the mansion for $725,000 in 1980. Upon John's death, Ono decided to renovate the home and sold it in 1986 for $3.2 Million.
