More Development Possibly Coming to Downtown West Palm Beach

West Palm Beach Apartment Tower

According to a report from the Palm Beach Post, All Aboard Florida has unveiled plans to develop a 23 story apartment tower right next to its train station on Evernia Street in downtown West Palm Beach. Although the project is in its earliest planning stages, the Palm Beach Post reports that city commissioners have already approved a deal that would allow All Aboard Florida to build the tower, along with a road that connects to West Palm Beach’s lively and vibrant Clematis Street.

When finished, the new apartment tower will house 275 rental units, ground level retail space, and a parking garage with 800 spaces. Studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments will be available inside the building, while amenities will include a pool, a yoga studio, a fitness center, and an outdoor living area, which would all be on the garage’s rooftop.

As of now, pricing and further details have yet to be released, but early indications are units will be moderately priced compared to other similar rentals on the West Palm Beach real estate market. If development moves forward, All Aboard Florida hopes to have the tower completed towards the middle of 2017.
