New 50,000 Square Foot Market Coming to Riviera Beach Marina Project
In case you missed it, a 50,000 square foot market for produce and various other locally sourced products will now be a part of the Riviera Beach Marina project—a $375 million development that will also feature shops, restaurants, a boardwalk promenade, and a number of new boat slips.
Along with vendor stands that will have local produce and freshly caught fish available, the new market will also include a permanent structure that has small retail spaces for local artists and craftsmen, while also providing freezers and secure overnight storage for each vendor.
According to The Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, the new Public Market at the Riviera Beach Marina will offer a unique opportunity for area residents, neighbors, and visitors to Riviera Beach to not only get the best fresh food in all of Florida, but to also enjoy its spectacular waterfront location that will also go a long way in redefining downtown Riviera Beach as well.
The massive new Riviera Beach Marina project will no doubt be a shot in local economy’s arm, providing new jobs to local residents and lots of new opportunities for small business owners and entrepreneurs to flourish in an revamped and energized Riviera Beach community.
If all goes according to plan, the city hopes to start construction for The Public Market at Riviera Beach Marina sometime in mid-2016.
