Palm Beach Outlets Now Open in West Palm Beach, FL
Back in 2010, the site for the Palm Beach Outlets was purchased for $35.5 million and the planning process for an expansive new retail development was just beginning. Fast forward a few years and tack on $200 million more in building costs and the long-awaited, much-anticipated Palm Beach Outlets mall is finally open and attracting an insane amount of visitors in its first week.
Officially making its debut last Friday on Valentine’s Day, the big and beautiful new mall features more than 100 brand-name outlet shops and a whopping 400,000 square feet of retail space—and that’s just Phase 1 of the project. Once the second phase is completed, 10 more big-box retailers will also be part of the Palm Beach Outlets shopping universe, which will eventually include the likes of Whole Foods, Pier 1 Imports, and Sports Authority just to name a few.  Some of the more recognizable stores already open, however, include DKNY, Cole Haan, Kenneth Cole, and Steve Madden, and quite a few other household name clothing brands.
The economic impact of the Palm Beach Outlets has already been outstanding, as an estimated 1,000 new jobs have been created and hundreds more workers participated in the construction of the new mall. And as construction continues and more stores open, job growth should continue and be felt all throughout the Palm Beach area.
The new Palm Beach Outlets are located at 1751 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach and are open from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sundays.  And for a complete store list, click here. Â
