Things to do Around the Palm Beach Area During the Second Half of July

July Events and Festivals in Palm Beach

If you’re looking for something to do from now until the end of the month in the Palm Beach Area, you’ll find plenty of choices. From baseball to live music and theatre, the month of July is full of hot acts and cool attractions, even as we approach its final days. Here's a look at just some of what's happening...

Palm Beach Cardinals (July 13, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25) - Jupiter

Summer would not be complete without a trip to the baseball diamond, and a chance to see the Palm Beach Cardinals in action.  The minor league team has a number of home games planned throughout the month of July at Jupiter’s Roger Dean Stadium.

Shakespeare by the Sea (July 16-19) - Jupiter

If you missed the first weekend of Shakespeare by the Sea, never fear, another one is right around the corner.  The Seabreeze Amphitheatre in Jupiter is the place to go July 16-19 to catch this seaside theatrical show.  Grab your blanket, beach chair and food, or come ready to taste test your way through the various food trucks at Carlin Park.

Clematis by Night (July 16, 23, 30) - West Palm Beach

Looking for something to do when the sun goes down?  Each Thursday night through the rest of July and August, head to Clematis by Night.  This concert series brings live music to Centennial Square Thursdays from 6-9pm.  There are three Thursday nights left in July, filled with reggae, high-energy rock and pop, and R & B.  Don’t miss a fun night of hot music and great food.

Rock & Roll Summer Presents: KISS America (July 17) - Palm Beach Gardens

The theme continues with a tribute to KISS, courtesy of Rock & Roll Summer in Palm Beach Gardens.  This free event takes place from 7-10pm on July 17 at Downtown at the Gardens.

Sunday on the Waterfront (July 19) - West Palm Beach

Don’t forget about additional live music right on the Flagler Drive waterfront when you head out to Sunday on The Waterfront.  Held each third Sunday of the month, these family-friendly concerts begin at 4pm at the Meyer Amphitheatre.

The Kids Fitness Festival (July 22-23) - West Palm Beach

If your kids are looking for something to do July 22 and 23, don’t miss the Kids Fitness Festival at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.  Each day from 10am-2:30pm, kids will have their chance to work on sports skills with more than 40 different clinics, as well as gain some hands-on experience, and simply have fun.  If you want to go, it’s recommended you sign up ahead of time.

Summer Beer Fest (July 25) - West Palm Beach

Finally, enjoy a round of cold brew, in a cool environment, at Palm Beach’s Summer Beer Fest.  This is the only craft brew fest you’ll find in South Florida that’s held indoors, out of the summer heat.  Enjoy live music, along with more than 150 choices in craft beers from all over the country, as well as some local brews.  You’ll find the event July 25 at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

No matter which event or events you choose, you are sure to have a great time exploring the best of the Palm Beach area in July.
