Where to Eat in Jupiter & Palm Beach, FL
Much of Jupiter, FL real estate for sale revolves around vacation homes and condos. It isn’t uncommon to serve out-of-town home buyers looking for a great waterfront home in Jupiter, FL or the perfect Jupiter, FL condo with spectacular ocean views. Many such home buyers have visited the Jupiter, FL area before or have at least spent considerable time here; but every now and again, we’ll see home buyers who still aren’t completely familiar with Jupiter and the surrounding Palm Beach, FL communities, so it’s up to us to suggest all the great restaurants to frequent and fun-filled places to see in Southeast Florida.
For out-of-town home buyers or even the thousands of tourists Jupiter, FL sees every year, one of the most-asked questions I’ll get is “where’s the best seafood in town?” Of course living directly off the Atlantic Ocean, great seafood restaurants are plentiful in towns like Jupiter, Palm Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens, so it’s certainly hard to narrow it down to just one choice. In fact, it’s even hard to narrow the top seafood restaurants & bars in Jupiter, FL down to even five choices—but for the purpose of this blog, I’ll see what I can do.
So with that, below is my list of the Top Ten Seafood Restaurants, Bars, & Cafés around Jupiter and the Palm Beach area:
1) Seasons 52: The fresh grill and wine bar at Seasons 52 offers seasonally-inspired dishes, an award-winning, international wine selection, and arguable Jupiter’s best dining experience. When it town, definitely check out Seasons 52 at 11611 Ellison Wilson Road in Palm Beach Gardens.
2) Catfish House: As a Hobe Sound staple, the Catfish House was established back in 2007 and serves up the area’s most mouth watering fried fish, shrimp and oyster plates. Located at 11500 SE Federal Hwy in Hobe Sound, FL, it isn’t unusual for a long line to form out the door at the Catfish House, so get there early!
3) Schooners Jupiter: Since opening in 1984, Schooners has been known for the freshest seafood around and their strong dedication to quality and preparation. The atmosphere at Schooners is casual and inviting, which makes for the perfect lunch spot in Jupiter, FL.
4) Quarterdeck Seafood & Bar: The original Quarterdeck was founded all the way back in 1966. The ambiance at the Quarterdeck Seafood & Bar is “Florida Casual” while the food and drinks are even more appealing. Enjoy the open-air breeze and top-quality service at Quarterdeck Seafood & Bar, located at 1096 W. Indiantown Rd.

Sinclair’s Ocean Grill & Lounge: Enjoy gourmet seafood, a tropical atmosphere, and an elegant setting all at Jupiter’s only oceanfront restaurant at Sinclair’s Ocean Grill & Lounge and at Sinclair’s Outdoor Terrace. In addition to the innovative seafood dishes that fill the menu, the Lounge at Sinclair’s also provides unique local entertainment. A must-visit whenever in Jupiter, FL.
6) Little Moir’s Leftover Café: For any beer lover, Little Moir’s Leftover Café is the place for you. With a great selection of American Craft Beers and an array of simple yet flavorful dishes, Little Moir’s Leftover Café is the perfect after-work spot to grab a bite and unwind.
7) Captain Charlie’s Reef Grill: Also known as “the Reef,” Captain Charlie’s Reef Grill is considered by many to be Jupiter’s favorite seafood stop. The wide selection of wines varies between days and the restaurant’s main focus is on fresh, quality seafood. As somewhat of a hidden gem, Captain Charlie’s Reed Grill is strongly recommended.
8) Panama Hattie’s: Dubbed “The Perfect Intracoastal Dining Experience” Panama Hattie’s presents anxious patrons with fresh, local seafood each and every day and prides itself on offering something tasty for every visitor. So whether it’s a mouth-watering lobster dish, delicious Ahi Tuna Tacos, or even the signature Seafood Cobb Salad, Panama Hattie’s is a top choice for anyone wanting some variety.
9) Square Grouper Tiki Bar: You can’t experience Jupiter without visiting the Square Grouper Tiki Bar at Castaways Marina. As home to Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet’s “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” and “Long, Long Way To Go” videos, this one-of-a-kind Jupiter watering hole is famous for more than just the great live music, and stunning surrounding scenery it offers it’s visitors. So for cheap beer, tasty frozen drinks and cocktails, and a great burger, give Square Grouper’s a shot—you won’t be disappointed.
10) Waterway Café: As the leader for waterfront dining in Palm Beach Gardens since 1986, the Waterway Café is one of the most popular restaurants in the area. The dinner menu at Waterway Café is loaded with soups and appetizers, fresh green salads, hearty seafood entrées, filling sandwiches, and even some great pasta and pizza dishes. If you’ve yet to visit this local hotspot, you can check out the Waterway Café at 2300 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens.
