November Events Around Jupiter & Palm Beach County
The month of November is all about giving thanks and there’s plenty to be thankful for in and around Jupiter this month. Here's a look at just some of the community happenings going on over the next several weeks:
Hike Through History- November 7 - Jupiter
Take a hike through natural history at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum on November 7. The Hike Through History is a two-mile long hike, with historic points along the way, covering some of the 120-acres of natural area. The hike is open to kids and adults ages five and up. The event is free but you need to RSVP to take part.
Veterans Day Parade- November 8 - West Palm Beach
A couple of days before the official day of remembrance come celebrate our armed forces with the 8th Annual Veterans Day Parade in West Palm Beach. The parade marches down Clematis Street, ending in downtown at Centennial Square. The event is free and so is parking in all of the city parking garages this day.
Sailfish Marina Sunset Celebration- November 12, 19 - West Palm Beach
Each Thursday night brings what’s billed as the Palm Beaches’ premiere arts and crafts show. The Sailfish Marina Sunset Celebration offers up the opportunity to stroll through a number of unique items including pottery, blown glass, jewelry and sculptures. The evening event brings in dozens of artists from around the nation, plus live music while you shop at the marina.
Harvest Fest November 14 - Boynton Beach
Next, head to Boynton Beach for the annual Harvest Fest. Sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce, the festival includes live music, crafts, plus activities just for kids and a number of local food trucks. This year’s event will also include a car show.
Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival- November 20-22 - Boca Raton
November 20-22 marks three days of celebrating at the Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival. This annual event begins with a Dinner Under the Stars on Friday evening. Saturday night is the Grand Tasting and a Craft Brew Battle is planned for Sunday afternoon. The festival is held on the FAU, Boca Raton campus.
Light Up Your Holiday!- November 28 - Jupiter
Finally, round out the month of November with the inaugural tree lightening ceremony at Harbourside Place. This special, holiday kickoff will include live performances, plus arts and crafts, holiday games and possibly even some snow flurries! The event is also expected to include photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus some of your favorite wintertime princesses!
