Here's a look at a few things going on around town over the next couple days...

Turtle Trot 5K Run

Whether you enjoy running or not, make some time to cheer on the running crowd Saturday morning at the 2015 Turtle Trot 5K Run.  The event starts on Marcinski Road and ends near Ocean Cay Park.  In addition to the 5K run, there’s also a one-mile fun run for kids to run alongside local firefighters starting just after 7am.

Hike Through History

May 2, 2015 8am-10am

Take a hike through history at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.  The two-mile long trek runs from 8am-10am on the first Saturday of the month.  Tour 120-acres worth of historic sites within the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Area.  The trek is open to both grownups and kids, but you have to be at least five years old to take part.  Admission is free, but you have to RSVP.

Public Tour & Fish Feeding

May 2, 2015 2pm-2:30pm

Next up, head to River Center on Highway 1 for a Public Tour and Fish Feeding.  This free, public event is held each Saturday, giving visitors a tour of the aquariums.  Visitors also have the chance to watch the fish when it hits feeding time.

Live Music on Saturdays

May 2, 2015 1pm-5pm & 7pm-11pm

Also starting in the afternoon, head to Harbourside Place for live music stretching into the late evening hours.  The free event is held most Saturdays, from one to five, then again from seven to eleven at night.

Jupiter Green & Artisan Market

May 3, 2015 10am

On Sunday morning, make plans to attend the Jupiter Green & Artisan Market.  The boutique market is open every Sunday at 10am, featuring just about anything you can think of.   You’ll find it at the Riverwalk Events Plaza, under the Indiantown Bridge.

Big Band Dance at Jupiter Community Center

At night, make plans to attend the Big Band Dance at Jupiter’s Community Center.  This Sunday night staple offers plenty of 1940’s music, courtesy of a live band.
