The Village boasts 7,854 units in 356 buildings with 309 associations (corporations). There is no master association which is unique in the state of Florida. Rather, the United Civic Organization (UCO) acts as an advisory group to the associations which send delegates to UCO meetings. The community newspaper is the UCO Reporter which is operated by the UCO Board. The Clubhouse features amenities such as; barber, beauty parlor, fitness center, library, card and activity rooms, as well as an indoor pool and saunas. The newly remodeled 1209-seat theater hosts current run movies and live entertainment. Free private bus transportation within the village as well as frequent trips to shopping venues and other activities outside of the village. There are fifteen pools ensuring everyone has the possibility of living within walking distance to a pool. While there are no restaurants in the Village there is a Walgreen's Drug Store, a hair salon and a doctor's office.
