Tequesta Homes For Sale - Tequesta FL Real Estate

Tequesta Real Estate For SaleWelcome to your local Tequesta neighborhood real estate resource. Near Jupiter, Florida are beautiful beaches, popular golf courses, and several neighboring towns and villages. The village of Tequesta, FL sits in the 33469 zip code of Palm Beach County, home to about 5,600 residents. Tequesta is less than four miles from the center of Jupiter with the Loxahatchee River as its southern border. The Jonathan Dickinson State Park is the village’s northern border, while the Tequesta Country Club forms the west boundary. The Atlantic Ocean is its eastern border offering beach access and waterfront real estate. Although the town is widely known for the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, which sits atop a natural hill just off the Atlantic Ocean shorefront, Tequesta is also home to some of the highest rated golf courses in the area and some of the most luxurious homes and real estate in south Florida.

Much of Tequesta is the nearby Loxahatchee River. However, if waterfront property & ocean views are a high priority for a buyer's on-going home search, plenty of Tequesta condos for sale such as the Ocean Towers, Tequesta Towers, Sandpointe Bay, and SeaWatch offer breathtaking outlooks of the expansive Atlantic Ocean.

Terrific single-family homes in Tequesta, with numerous subdivision communities available for a quiet, low-key lifestyle. As mentioned, golf course homes in Tequesta are wildly popular, and with nearly a handful of top-notch, highly-rated courses to choose from, it’s easy to understand why. Whether it’s a luxury four- or five-bedroom home at the Jupiter Hills Golf Course or an affordable condo situated on Riverbend, there’s a variety of housing options that fit the needs of any home buyer who loves to hit the links. And for buyers who are set on a Tequesta, FL home, searching Tequesta gated communities, short sales in Tequesta, and Tequesta foreclosures are great real estate options as well. Tequesta Real Estate Market

Homebuyers have several different neighborhoods to consider when looking to buy a home in the Tequesta real estate market. Discover estate-style homes for sale in the subdivision of Bayview Terrace. A sprawling home with almost 4,000 square feet of living space in Bayview Terrace can list for $1.1 million, while in the Riverbend community it’s condominiums with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms listed in the mid $200’s. Listing in the mid $400’s, the Sandpointe Bay condos sit on the intracoastal waterway and feature 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus on-site amenities like a pool and clubhouse.

Heritage Oaks is a Tequesta subdivision with spacious single-family homes, many that are custom built or that feature custom finishes. Home prices in Heritage Oaks range from the upper $500’s to the mid $900’s. The Tequesta Country Club neighborhood has a diverse range of home prices, from the low $400’s to $2.4 million for a large, premium waterfront lot. Homes in this subdivision of the village are on lush, landscaped lots and have easy access to boat ramps and the Tequesta Country Club golf course.

Buyers looking to build a home in Tequesta may look to work with builders like RJM Custom Homes, Divosta Homes, Pulte Homes, and others that are local to the area.

  • Home of popular attractions such as the Lighthouse Gallery and the School of Arts
  • The city takes on many charity initiatives including the Wounded Warrior Second Chance Project, Relay for Life and Nautical Fishing Club
  • Medical facilities serving the area are SandyPines Residential Treatment Center, Jupiter Medical Center and Jupiter Medical Center Inc
  • Nearby higher education includes Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale and more

Tequesta Community Amenities

Homeowners in Tequesta enjoy easy proximity to Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike as well as Highway A1A. It’s a quick connect to neighboring cities like Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach. The Palm Beach International Airport is less than 30 miles south of Tequesta and it’s only five miles to the Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The state park spans almost 18 square miles, offering visitors a scenic area for boating, fishing, camping, hiking, and a variety of outdoor activities. The 45-acre Tequesta Park on County Line Road features lighted ball fields and tennis courts, a picnic pavilion, and walking trail.

For beach lovers, the place to go is Coral Cove Park. It’s located on State Road 707 along the Atlantic and close to the Indian River. There’s both guarded and unguarded beach area plus a picnic area, playground, and showers.

Shopping options are numerous in this Floridian village. From the Tequesta Shoppes on Federal Highway to Gallery Square North located on Tequesta Drive, it’s easy to find specialty boutiques, national retailers, and locally owned places to eat and grab a cup a coffee. Nearby attractions for residents and their guests include the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and the Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve.

Tequesta Neighborhood Highlights

When visiting Tequesta, FL, or even for the residents living here, the attractions are all about the outdoors; and given it’s south Florida we’re talking about, that really shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone. The Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve is definitely a “can’t miss” tourist attraction in Tequesta and Coral Cove Park is equally as beautiful.

Tequesta Schools

Tequesta is part of the School District of Palm Beach County (PBCSD), but because this south Florida community is a bit smaller than neighboring Jupiter, there aren’t many academic options here. The Good Shepherd Episcopal School is located at 402 Seabrook Road and is a private school that accepts students at the PK level and grades K-5. Most students will attend schools in Jupiter. For those little ones, some will attend Lighthouse Elementary, but for those families living on the southern and parts of the eastern boundary of Tequesta, there’s a chance that the kids of that area will attend Jupiter Elementary. And when it comes time for high school, most will go to nearby Jupiter High School, as long as it's a public school that fits the specific academic needs of that child.

Come home to Tequesta, for oceanfront views and private residential neighborhoods situated close to highways, parks, and city amenities.
