Nearby attractions for residents and their guests include the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and the Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve.
When visiting Tequesta, FL, or even for the residents living here, the attractions are all about the outdoors; and given it’s south Florida we’re talking about, that really shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone. The Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve is definitely a “can’t miss” tourist attraction in Tequesta and Coral Cove Park is equally as beautiful.
Tequesta is part of the School District of Palm Beach County (PBCSD), but because this south Florida community is a bit smaller than neighboring Jupiter, there aren’t many academic options here. The Good Shepherd Episcopal School is located at 402 Seabrook Road and is a private school that accepts students at the PK level and grades K-5. Most students will attend schools in Jupiter. For those little ones, some will attend Lighthouse Elementary, but for those families living on the southern and parts of the eastern boundary of Tequesta, there’s a chance that the kids of that area will attend Jupiter Elementary. And when it comes time for high school, most will go to nearby Jupiter High School, as long as it's a public school that fits the specific academic needs of that child.
