The Palm Beach Gardens Golf Scene
When you’re not out on the open water living in South Florida, you’re most likely out on the golf course. This area of the country is rich with golf courses, and Palm Beach Gardens is no exception. There are a number of championship and executive courses to be found.
The general area includes dozens of golf courses, both private and public. Whether you’re in search of a challenging course to test your skills, or a course to brush up on your swing, you’re sure to find it in Palm Beach Gardens. Â
Private Golf Courses
The private clubs within the community include the exclusive Old Marsh Golf Club. This Pete Dye-designed course has ranked as one of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S.
BallenIsles provides an outstanding three championship golf courses, built surrounded by a luxurious community of homes and added amenities.
Meanwhile, Old Palm Golf Club is an ideal location for touring pros, as well as players still working on their skills. Limited, equity memberships are available for homeowners within the Old Palm community.
Not to be outdone, The Country Club at Mirasol offers two private, championship golf courses. Designed by Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio, there are both equity golf and equity sports memberships available.
There is also Frenchman’s Creek Beach & Country Club, where golfers will delight in two championship golf courses. The community also includes frequent golf tournaments and clinics for golfers of all abilities.
Resort-style Golf Courses
The PGA National Resort & Spa features an outstanding five golf courses. It’s hosted the PGA Championship and Ryder Cup in past years. Home of the Honda Classic, this location has also also hosted the Senior PGA Championship.
Public Golf Courses
As for public courses, head to Palm Beach Gardens Golf Club. With dense wooded areas nearby, this early 1990’s course is open all year round. Recently redesigned, this is a Par 72 course, built around nature preserves and wetlands.
