Palm Beach Events in April 2015

When it comes to Palm Beach there’s plenty to do every month of the year, and the month of April is no exception.  From live music on the waterfront to getting your home garden ready for spring and summer, we run down the list of the April must dos for Palm Beach County.

The Norton Museum of Art

Starting the first week of April, you have your choice of several selections in the art and music world.

The Norton Museum of Art hosts four film screenings during the month.  The first showing is April 2 with “Edward Scissorhands”, followed by the April 9 showing of “A Hole in the Head”, “Body Heat” on April 16 and “Matinee” on April 23.  The four screenings are part of the museum’s “Florida Films: A Sense of Place”. Palm Beach County Beaches

Largely in part because of spring break, March and April are two of the busiest months of the year down here around Jupiter and the Palm Beach County area. Along with the warm sunny climate and the casual, laid-back atmosphere, Palm Beach County is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Harbor Point on Singer Island Sold

According to a report from the Palm Beach Post, it appears the days are numbered for one of the last few remaining low-rise condo developments on Singer Island—a part of Palm Beach County that is now basically dominated by towering oceanfront high-rises with jaw-dropping views and a wide-range of amenities to match.

Harbor Point, located at 5000 N. Ocean Drive on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, has reportedly been sold for $15 million to The Kolter Group, which plans to demolish the deteriorating 37-unit building and develop a new luxury community that still needs to be approved by the city.
