One of the last undeveloped waterfront parcels of land in Jupiter lies where Jones Creek meets the Southwest Fork of the Loxahatchee River. But that could quickly change is Mattamy Homes receives approval from the town council to build homes there. 

Once home to radio towers that belonged to R&R Broadcasting Company, the land located at 500 Delaware Boulevard is now overgrown and full of wildlife, which is exactly what makes this latest development proposal so tricky. 

As noted in a recent interview featured in the Palm Beach Post, some nearby residents consider the parcel a “true wildlife corridor,” and there are also concerns regarding additional traffic being added to an already dangerous intersection along Indiantown Road should development move
