As we approach the end of October, the fall season here in Palm Beach County is in full swing, which means we’re at the height of the always anticipated Farmer’s Market season! Regardless of where you live in South Florida, chances are you’re lucky enough to easily access more than a few great Farmers’ Markets in the area, and whether you’re shopping for fresh fruit and produce or are perhaps more interested in all the cool arts and crafts from local and regional vendors, the real beauty behind a Farmer’s Market in Palm Beach County is that there’s usually something for just about anybody to enjoy.

West Palm Beach CondosThey aren’t even built yet, but already two West Palm Beach condominium units are breaking records.  The two units each sold for more than $14 million dollars, smashing an old city record.

Both of the condo units are housed within a building called the Bristol.  The first unit is a three-bedroom penthouse.  Located on the 25th floor, the home is currently under contract for $14.99 million, its full asking price.  Just across the waterway from tony Palm Beach where multi-million dollar units are the norm, this particular condo unit is set to become the highest priced condominium ever to sell in West Palm Beach.  In fact, the price more than doubles the old record holder, sold for $7.42 million in 2004, and located within One Watermark Place.

West Palm Beach County Development

More local shopping is planned for the near future in West Palm Beach County.  Recently, developers broke ground on the Loxahatchee Groves Commons, expected to contain a Publix and a Tractor Supply Co., spanning more than 94,000 square feet in size and nearly 22 acres of land.  In addition, the site could also include additional retailers, restaurants, banks and other businesses in growing Loxahatchee Groves.

This new shopping center is one of just two new shopping centers planning to open in the area in 2016.  Loxahatchee Groves Commons is being developed by Atlantic Land Cos. at the intersection of B Road and Southern Boulevard.  This is just across from Binks Forest Road at Wellington’s western entrance.  It is also close to the new 75-acre campus of

Part museum, part art school, there is a lot happening at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Jupiter this fall.  In fact, the region’s largest and oldest visual arts organization is planning for a range of exhibitions throughout October and November.  Here’s a look at some of the current and upcoming plans:
