Around Town

 

One thing that we love most about our town of JUPITER is that even though there are over 58,000 people that live here, it still has that small town feel.  There are so many things to see and do whether it be exploring all that nature has to offer or enjoying some of the most unique restaurants in all of South Florida.  Here's a list of our favorite places to experience in the Jupiter area!

Riverbend Park

If you enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, this beautiful park is the perfect place to spend your day.  This park has over 680 acres of hiking and bicycle trails, great waterways to canoe or kayak on and tons of wild life to observe.  For all those that love horses there is also nearly 7 miles of equestrian trails throughout the park.  This time of year is perfect to enjoy all that this park has to offer.   9060 Indiantown Rd, Jupiter, FL

Loggerhead Marinelife Center

This ocean conservation facility is both educational and fun for all ages.  With one of the most popular visitor experiences being the guided turtle walks, this incredible adventure allows you to learn about and observe the nesting and egg-laying process of sea turtles.  Only offered in the months of June and July, you do not want to miss this opportunity to walk the beach and watch as sea turtles begin the egg-laying process.  14200 U.S. Highway One, Juno Beach, FL

Guanabanas

This one-of-a-kind waterfront restaurant has an atmosphere like no other!   Escape to tropical paradise as the entire restaurant is outside and covered by tiki huts, palm trees and lush landscaping.  Not only is the atmosphere incredible, their food is delightfully wonderful as well.  They offer a variety of good eats and drinks including some of our favorite: fish tacos, coconut fried shrimp, BBQ pork sliders, grilled pineapple chicken and rib-eye steak just to name a few.  As if that isn't good enough they also have live musical performances every weekend!  Check them out for either lunch or dinner at 960 North Highway A1A, Jupiter, FL

Square Grouper Tiki Bar (pictured above)

This waterfront tiki bar is one of Jupiter's most popular watering holes. Square Grouper offers more than just bar food and tasty tropical drinks, it has spectacular water views of the Jupiter Inlet and the famous Jupiter Lighthouse, live bands six nights a week and boasts the 19-slip Castaways Marina where you can charter both fishing and dive trips.  A fun fact about this tiki bar is that several music videos have been filmed here including Alan Jackson's hit "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" with Jimmy Buffett.   Tucked away at 1111 Love Street, Jupiter, FL
