Dog Parks Around the Jupiter & the Palm Beach Area
Although Jupiter only has one dog park in town that’s available for dog owners, that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of other facilities around the Palm Beach area to visit that allow your dog to run around and stretch his legs. There’s no doubt dog parks are becoming more and more popular around the country, so if you’re looking for a place where your dog can run freely and safely without the restraint of a leash, here’s a look at some of the Jupiter Palm Beach area’s dog parks and pet areas:
F.I.N.D. Park
The park has an off- leash dog run with separate areas for large and small dogs. Here, the dogs can have fun chasing squirrels that are found there or swimming. The park is located on 211 River park drive in Jupiter Florida.
Anchorage Bark Park
Located in North Palm Beach inside Anchorage Park, Anchorage Bark Park has two separate areas—one for small dogs below 25 pounds and the other for large dogs above 25 pounds. The park has plenty of trees, and some areas have grass and dirt, while others have wood chips. In other words, taking your dog here after it rains could get messy. You’ve been warned.
Howard Park
Inside Howard Park in West Palm Beach is City Paws—an area that’s solely dedicated to letting dogs run around and roam free. Along with individual areas for large and small dogs, there's also plenty of covered seating, allowing for dog owners to be comfortable while dogs burn off all that pent up energy.Â
Osprey Park
One of the best dog parks in the area, Osprey Park in West Palm Beach features a dog run that encompasses a third of acre, making it the perfect place for both you and your dog to go for a stroll. There’s also two separate areas for large and small dogs, making it safe and fun for pooches of all sizes!
Wellington Dog Park
Wellington Dog Park is located near Wellington Aero Club in the inland part of the county. As one of the largest dog parks in the Palm Beach area, it's an especially great place to visit for dog owners with large dogs. But even if you have a medium-sized dog, or even a tiny four-legged buddy, there's separate places inside designated for whatever dog you may have!
