Elin Nordegren's North Palm Beach Mansion Taking Shape
Just how exclusive are gated community homes around Jupiter Island and North Palm Beach, Florida? To put it quite bluntly, they can be downright spectacular. Last week, updates on the progress of Elin Nordegren’s new Seminole Landing mansion surfaced online, and at first look, the home is well on its way to being an absolute stunner.
The ex-wife of golfing legend Tiger Woods received a reported $110 million settlement after the couple split and it appears she’s sparing no expense to build her incredible new North Palm Beach home. In place of the $12.2 million dollar estate that was torn down in 2012 to meet modern hurricane building codes, Nordegren’s new pad sits on a 21,000 square foot plot and will feature its own wine and media rooms, an Olympic-sized swimming pool with waterfalls, and a complete spa and gym area. In addition, some reports even have the master suite housed in a 1,200 square foot space, which of course will include breathtaking outlooks of the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean.
Although speculation is running rampant among the community as to why she has chosen to build such a massive home for just her and her children, one would logically assume that a new construction home that sits directly on the ocean will only rise in value over the year, making this a very smart investment. Oceanfront homes throughout the Palm Beach area have really seen substantial price increases over the years and there’s little reason to expect that trend won’t continue to happen. Â
