In case you missed it, a 50,000 square foot market for produce and various other locally sourced products will now be a part of the Riviera Beach Marina project—a $375 million development that will also feature shops, restaurants, a boardwalk promenade, and a number of new boat slips.
Along with vendor stands that will have local produce and freshly caught fish available, the new market will also include a permanent structure that has small retail spaces for local artists and craftsmen, while also providing freezers and secure overnight storage for each vendor.

As the early part of 2014 rolls by, construction for the $300 million redevelopment of the 10-block Marina District in Riviera Beach continues and we can finally begin to look forward to the construction of the new Newcomb Hall and Public Market phase of the project, which would include a rebuilt version of the community center, a grand meeting hall, a visitor’s center and retail space for shops and cafés.
