Top 3 Newer Communities with Larger Lots in Jupiter

If you’re moving from up north or out west, you’re probably used to having some breathing room in your yard. You may even be hoping to stay away from the typical quarter acre lot communities and wondering where you can find a bit more breathing room between your home and your neighbors’ if you’re planning a move to this highly sought-after area.

While there are several highly sought-after luxury communities in Jupiter, not all of them will provide the ample amount of acreage you are in the market for. However, there are a few newer communities in Jupiter that provide their residents with larger lots.

3 Newer Jupiter Communities with Larger Lots

If you are looking for more acreage just outside a busy city and near the ocean, then Jupiter has a few ideal options for you. The following are three newer communities that offer larger lots and great locations close to town and amenities.

#1: Prado

There’s a reason this luxury community has grown significantly over the past 10 years. It sits right off Island Way in Jupiter and offers larger lot sizes.

Prado offers its residents a quaint community with high-end luxury estates and large lot sizes from a .5 acre to over 1.5 acres.

The starting price range for a luxury estate home in the Prado community is between $1,500,000-$5,00,000. Depending on your lifestyle and design preferences, you can take advantage of a few luxury features offered in this community, including:

  •       Private swimming pools
  •       Guest homes
  •       Expansive soaring cathedral ceilings
  •       Wine cellars
  •       Large outdoor living spaces with fully equipped outdoor kitchens

A unique plus is that the area has low monthly HOA dues, which is an attractive feature to many potential homebuyers. Prado is the ideal community for those looking for a close-knit family feel, seaside living, spectacular schools, and plenty of things to do Jupiter.

#2: Bridgewater

Bridgewater is number two on our list of newer communities that offer larger lots in Jupiter. Like Prado, Bridgewater is right off Island Way and has seen substantial growth over the past decade.

This private, gated community features 127 residences on 295 acres surrounded by a natural preserve with tropical lush landscaping. Depending on your desired layout, you can expect a starting price range from $1,365,990 - 1,889,990.

If you are in the market for 1+ acre estate homesites with flexible living spaces and consumer-inspired floorplans, then Bridgewater may be the perfect community for your lifestyle. Plus, to keep you connected with fast, reliable, multi-user Internet, the community’s infrastructure includes a Fiber network.

You’ll be only seven short minutes from nearby beaches and in close proximity to parks, shopping, nature preserves, and are near premier Martin County District schools. Whether you are raising a family or settling into retirement in this new luxury home community, you’ll enjoy Martin County’s lower property tax costs and won’t have to deal with community development district (CDD) fees.

#3: Reynolds Ranch

The third newer community with larger lots in Jupiter is Reynolds Ranch, and it’s a personal favorite. This is a gated community with 30 luxury homes, including lakefront homesites up to 1.88 acres.

Reynolds Ranch is a unique community located in Jupiter Farms, an equestrian town offering residents access to miles of public horseback riding trails and is nearby to several stables, scenic farms and equestrian facilities. But it’s still close to several city amenities.

Rumor has it that the land was a gangster hideout in the 1920’s, and notorious Gangster Al Capone built the original home on the property in 1923. The legendary Burt Reynolds owned the land in the 1980’s and owned the ranch for years, complete with a petting zoo and shot scenes for the movie Smokey and The Bandit.

15 years ago, Palm Beach County School District bought the land for $3.8M and hoped to build a middle school for Jupiter Farms. But the population growth did not warrant the new school. Not long after, the school board sold the land to K. Hovanian for $5M. This was the first new development of its kind in Jupiter Farms which has helped this rural section of Jupiter break the $1M luxury market. The developer sold out quickly, and now there are some resales available with pricing from $1.5M to just under $3M.
