Annual Spring Plant Sale This Weekend at Mounts Botanical Gardens
Every spring, the renowned Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach hosts the Spring Plant Sale Show, and this year, it happens to be falling on the weekend of April 25th and 26th. The combination of year-round sunshine and a warm tropical climate makes South Florida a haven for colorful flowers and exotic plant life, and here at the annual Spring Plant Sale, attendees get to learn more about what grows well in this particular part of the country and even get the chance to pick out something new to plant in their own personal garden back at home.
Each year, over 80 vendors will be on hand, selling an assortment of different plants like palms, orchids, bamboo, fruit tress, and begonias—just to name a few. If you’re looking for a rare or uncommon addition to add to your garden, this is the best opportunity you’ll have to find just that.
The even runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th, and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday April 26th. For members of the Mounts Botanical Gardens, admission is free, and for non-members, tickets to the Spring Plant Show are only $10. Mounts members are also invited to a continental breakfast and pre-sale before the show on Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
In addition to the plant sale, the Mounts Vintage Garden Thrift will also be held in the Garden Pavilion during the event, while a Hibiscus and Rose show will also be held simultaneously.
