Memorial Day Events in Jupiter, FL

Memorial Day is one of the best holidays of the year. Turtle Trot 5K Run

Whether you enjoy running or not, make some time to cheer on the running crowd Saturday morning at the 2015 Turtle Trot 5K Run.  The event starts on Marcinski Road and ends near Ocean Cay Park.  In addition to the 5K run, there’s also a one-mile fun run for kids to run alongside local firefighters starting just after 7am.

Mounts Botanical Gardens Spring Plant Sale

Every spring, the renowned Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach hosts the Spring Plant Sale Show, and this year, it happens to be falling on the weekend of April 25th and 26th. The combination of year-round sunshine and a warm tropical climate makes South Florida a haven for colorful flowers and exotic plant life, and here at the annual Spring Plant Sale, attendees get to learn more about what grows well in this particular part of the country and even get the chance to pick out something new to plant in their own personal garden back at home.

2015 Jupiter Spring Training Schedule

Although the month of March might often be associated with the madness of the NCAA college basketball tournament, there’s certainly much more going on in the sports than just basketball. Major League Baseball also kicks off its Spring Training season in late-February and early March, and there’s no better place to catch all the action than right here in South Florida.

In Jupiter, we’re lucky enough to welcome two MLB teams to the area during Spring Training—the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins—and regardless of whether or not you’re a baseball fan, there’s nothing quite like the combination of the warm Florida sunshine and some great early season baseball, especially if you’re just visiting from somewhere up north.

Jupiter Farmer's Market at Harbourside Place

With all the events, social and family gatherings, and various other obligations that typically coincide with the holiday season, you might have missed the grand opening of the new Jupiter’s Farmers Market at Harbourside Place, which happened back in early December.

ArtFest By The Sea 2015

Between the snowbirds, spring breakers, and those just trying to briefly escape the harsh winter weather up north, March is one of the busiest months of the year for the Jupiter-Palm Beach area, and this year certainly won’t be any different.

The beaches will be full of energy, Major League Baseball’s Spring Training will be in full swing, and some of the coolest outdoor festivals and events take place in March, with one of our favorites being the Art Fest by the Sea. 

This year’s event, which will be held on March 7th and 8th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., marks the 27th year for this one-of-a-kind festival, and over the decades, it’s become one of the most highly anticipated springtime traditions for full-time residents and short-term visitors alike.
